Pic Today 7/4/10

"ROCKETS RED GLARE,
BOMBS BURSTING IN AIR."
-- F. Scott Key

July 4 is our nation's most important holiday.
234 years ago this day
we declared our independence from Great Britain.
We celebrate the 4th of July each year with parades,
picnics, barbecues and of course, FIREWORKS.
And we fly the Stars & Stripes proudly!

Here's some interesting July 4 trivia:
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson,
2 of our founding fathers and the only 2 men
who signed the Declaration of Independence
to become President,
died on the same day -- July 4, 1876 --
the 50th anniversary of the United States.

Have a great 4th!
