Pic Today 1/14/11

SHELL BUILDING, 11th FLOOR
Downtown St. Louis

Great space, terrific views, available for rent.
Creative offices, writers, artists, photographers,
film makers, digital designers and chefs.

Busy minds and hands gather
to create, make and solve,
then break bread together.

Great space is worth celebrating.

  1. I love big windows. You know, I was talking with a friend architect about it, how many buildings at the States focus on the well-lighted room notion. Great pics Rick ! Is it true however that one needs refference letters in order to rent an appartment? Here in Greece it's the landlord who usually provides all the possible comforts, and the people living on the rent who always ask for more.

  2. Hi Setty.
Reference letters are rarely requested here in the States. To rent an apartment, most ask for first month's rent plus a security deposit (sometimes one or two month's rent.) Not many landlords here provide "all possible comforts" though -- just the space. Light is everything, so of course I love big windows too.

  7. It's the fabulous Christ Church Cathedral, constructed in 1867, just across the street.
