SHADOWS IN THE SNOW
A warm sunny day
slowly takes the snow away.
Soft retreating shapes
reveal a winter's garden detail
while shadows play on
a cold blue snow.
The golden afternoon sun
makes the snow feel not so cold,
and colors are gradually restored to the land.
My thoughts are already turning to Spring.
Beautiful photo's and beautiful words to go along with them. especially like the second one-- and of course love the ducks...although all are really nice captures of shadows in the snow.

ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures!!!! There's something about snow that simply melts my heart in a good way...I can understand the fact that you long for Spring because you've been through so many Winters...I, on the contrary, will always long for NY Winters until I am able to go back.
