SACRED HINDU STONES
FOUND IN THE RIVER

These Shiva Lingam stones are sacred Hindu icons,
and harvested once a year from the banks
of the muddy Narmada River in the central western part of India.

These unique stones are tumbled naturally
into natural oval shapes, and contain red markings
(natural mineral inclusions) making these
Shiva Lingam stones important objects for meditation.
Some can be quite large, and sought after . . .
some small enough to carry in your pocket.

The Lingam is symbolic of the Divine Creation.
In the tantric tradition, the Lingam shape represents
the power of Shiva, the Lord of Creation,
the manifestation of masculine creative energy.
The red markings, called Yoni, represent
feminine energy, wisdom and intuition.

The Lingam stone relates to the "heart chakra" and
the manifestation of love.

(Ah, power of rocks and minerals on our bodies & souls.)
