FUTURE ENGINEERS OF THE WORLD
Day two at the World Robotics Championship
student competition in St. Louis.
School teams from around the world
compete in age categories, K to 12th grade.
Very young students built models and robots
in the LEGO competition, while teams in grades 5-12
spent the day fine tuning and adjusting
more complicated robot designs
(VERY complicated designs!)
Countries advancing into the final rounds
of the high school competition include:
Canada
Chile
China
Israel
Malaysia
Mexico
Saudi Arabia
United States
(Some teams seemed confident enough
to spend time in more leisurely activities!)

Gosh! we in "our times" were not this much advanced n talented. It's amazing to see these kids working technically like this.

So fun for the kids. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteHello, Rick! You didn't put Brasil among the countries in robotics competition but I just hear on TV that brazilians students won a robotic competition in USA. They didn't say it was in St. Louis, so maybe its another one. The studentes seems to be older than those you post here. Well, I'm just curious...xx
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see that there are also a lot of girls involved. I always loved technique but in 'my time' I was a strange girl.
