HOME GROWN PEACHES
HAVE ARRIVED
It's that time of the year,
that wonderful time each summer,
when home grown peaches have been picked
and delivered to area farmer's markets.
And they're extra sweet and juicy.
(Thanks to our warm spring and all that rain.)
Ripe home grown peaches are a real treat . . .
the kind of peach that runs down your chin
when you eat it. Yum.
Time to stock up, freeze or can some,
bake a pie (or two), or just slice some in a bowl
and eat 'em up.
They're selling them by the peck and half peck.
(What the heck is a peck, anyway?)
delicious!! :P
