Pic Today 10/11/11







LEAVES ARE BEAUTIFUL

. . . and not just for their color
in an autumn sky.

They release life giving oxygen
and cool us with their green mantle.

They feed animals and insects,
as the season turns toward winter.

And when their blanket covers the ground,
they decompose and enrich next year's soil.

But for now,
it's showtime, folks.
Enjoy the technicolor spectacle!
