A STUNNING MUSEUM,
INSIDE AND OUT
The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis
is located in the heart of a rebounding section
of an older part of original mid town.
Grand old buildings carefully restored,
including the fabulous Fox Theater,
are attracting new galleries and museums.
The Contemporary Art Museum is a crown jewel
and a notable part of the new construction.
Designed by noted architect Brad Cloepfil
from Portland, Oregon,
this striking museum is as interesting to view
on the outside as the galleries within.
Gravel gardens and dramatic sculpture
make inner courtyards a breathtaking escape,
with walkways and glass walls that play
with shadows and sunlight.
What a joy to photograph!
Unas buenas fotos de arquitectura y del tablero de ajedrez seguro que es dificil perder una pieza. Un abrazo Rick

What a wonderful building. It belongs to the modern times with what it expresses. It must have been great to walk in these beautiful rooms.
ReplyDeleteI doubt I'll ever be able to visit this museum, still with every pic you took me there, you always take me somewhere new and exciting through your lens. Love xxx
