WINTER IN THE GARDEN
With our strange warm weather this winter,
it was good to get our first snow of the new year.
It always creates a different kind of beauty
in the garden, in the forest.
With the snow came bitter cold temperatures,
but the snow will be gone this weekend
as the forecast calls for 50˚ by Sunday.
What's the garden to think?
(Let sleeping plants lie.)

Fresh snow is so lovely. Did it stay? While it may be warm over there, it is cold and windy here, but I have not gone out yet to do a nose-weather-check this morning like my dogs do. Hah!
