These aren't just rocks.

These are agates.

Beautiful laguna agates, from Mexico.

Considered by collectors

the most beautiful banded agates in the world.

Their intense color combinations make them unique.

Laguna agates are found in the rugged hills

of Ojo Laguna, just north of Chihuahua, Mexico,

150 miles south of El Paso, Texas.

Unfortunately, the choice mining spots there

have carefully guarded claims,

which make these beautiful "rocks" even more scarce.

Laguna nodules average 3-4" in diameter,

and when sawed and polished,

have spectacular bands of color within.
