LANDMARK TREE
REINCARNATED

Imagine the sorrow
of losing a 100-year-old tree
that marked the front yard of your home.

What a wonderful decision
to preserve its place in the neighborhood,
transforming its massive trunk
into a work of art . . .

hand carved and reincarnated
into a legendary griffin.

After all,
griffins are known through the ages
for guarding treasures, kingdoms
and priceless treasures . . .

like this home on Rock Hill Road
in the "historic walk" section
of Webster Groves, Missouri.

  5. Reminds me of "The Griffin", Grimm Brothers. I loved it when I was a child. Very special sculpture. A bit scary. But that's how it has to be. XOXO
