VACANT LOTS TURN GREEN
There's a "growing" trend in the city --
turning vacant lots into community gardens.
Neighbors apply for a raised bed plot . . .
pay a nominal fee for garden usage . . .
agree to keep their space trim & neat.
The rest is up to them, their seeds
and watering can, and Mother Nature.
Neighbors grow their own,
learn home-grown nutrition, and
make their community more beautiful.
Great idea!
Delicious too.
It's the best way to spend time and live life ...

A green hug!
Wonderful idea! My son has become a gardener turning our flower beds to gardens. I can't wait for the harvest. This is really wonderful. If only neighborhoods would make this the norm. There is something satisfying with growing one's own vegetables.
