THERE'S A NEW STRAWBERRY

IN TOWN

Just when sweet, red local strawberries

are at market, there's a curious new berry,

imported from the Netherlands,

hitting select markets.

This one looks like a strawberry,

but the color is all reversed.

Introducing the weird but succulently flavorful

pineberry!

This strawberry is white with red seeds,

with a subtle pineapple flavor.

They're grown in Belgium,

and flown into gourmet markets in the states.

(They'll set you back about 30¢ a berry.)

Throw some in with your red strawberries

for a beautiful breakfast.
