What great pictures from what looked like a fun filled day. Great shot of the big bellied man with the sombrero on, lol. All that good food makes my mouth water... and those tropical drinks in the pineapples, yum!
ReplyDeleteWow lots of fun celebrations. I need to read about Cinco De mayo because I have forgotten its significance, I can't remember why it is being celebrated. The colors and food look spectacular!!!
ReplyDeleteCinco de Mayo is really an "American" Mexican celebration. In Mexico, they don't celebrate this "holiday." Their Independence Day is an entirely different date. As I understand it, the Mexican army defeated the French on May 5, long ago . . . some important battle and significance.
