LEAVES HAVE VEINS
. . . not all leaves,
but most have vascular systems.
It is the veins that carry nutrients
and life to the body of the plant.
Some veins run parallel, some in lobes
And some leaves have no veins at all
(mosses, algae, some ferns.)
Veins of some leaves, especially the large ones,
are structural and almost architectural.
Life is amazing. Life is beautiful.
Nature's great designs
are now on display.
