SINGING SONGS
TO PRESERVE
MISSOURI'S BEST LAND
At a recent fund raiser and celebration,
on a beautiful fall afternoon,
the River Rats performed near the
famous Treloar Grain Elevator,
along the Katy Trail.
The Katy Trail was converted from
an unused railroad track, and is now
a popular hiking and bike trail
running 225 miles across the state
(150 of which are along the Missouri River.)
The Katy Land Trust seeks to preserve
agricultural lands, forests, river bluffs
and natural areas along this broad corridor.
Worth singing for!
(Thanks Maggie, who just happens
to be my beautiful daughter.)
