IN FOREST PARK
St. Louis is treated each summer
to the annual Shakespeare Festival
in Forest Park.
Performances are free to the public,
with first-come, first-grab lawn seating
under the stars (weather permitting.)
This year's production, "Twelfth Night",
dodged rain storms and drew record crowds.
And for first-timers and Shakespeare novices,
there were handy posters that explained
the story line and cast of characters . . .
which always helps!
The Forest Park Shakespeare Festival
is nationally acclaimed, and draws
professional company members from
around the country.
