SEEDS OF HAPPINESS
8 years ago, hometown artist Mark Borella
turned leftover clumps of sculpting clay
into little smiles to give out to friends
who were going through hard times,
and needed a little smile.
That small, selfless idea
has turned into a "big" small company
which makes and markets
20,000 handmade smiling sculptures
a month, which are sold around the world.
Mark's company is called
"Seeds of Happiness."
As Mark says, "I have given out
thousands of smiles to folks,
a handful at a time. In turn, they share
them and this message with their friends
in need of a smile.
He's always working on new "seed ideas",
like the fun doggie seeds above.
