TELLING  YOUR
ALPACAS AND LLAMAS
APART

It's confusing . . .

coming upon your first field of
alpacas and llamas . .

which are which?
How can you tell them apart?

Both have been bred,
originally in the highlands of Peru,
for over 5,000 years.
They're cousins, in fact.

Alpacas are much smaller,
gentler and more timid,
with soft, luxurious fleece.

Llamas are twice as large,
with very coarse fleece,
and can carry heavy packs;
and serve as heard guards for alpacas.

So many heards are raised together,
like at this Missouri farm.

So . . .
can you tell them apart?

  2. Personnellement, je leur trouve beaucoup de charme, peu commun, c'est vrai mais malgré tout,attirant la sympathie. Tu leur a fait un beau cadeau en leur tirant le portrait. Belle soirée à toi, Rick;
