PURPLE MARTIN
CONDOMINIUMS

In rural Missouri, it's not uncommon
to see purple martin "condominiums". . .
purple martin houses and gourds
grouped together to attract
migrating purple martin song birds.

These beautiful birds are valued and loved
for eliminating insect problems in
residential areas, and returning each year
to their colonized communities.

Their cheerful calls are an added bonus.

(They're on their way back to South America this month.)
