ST. LOUIS' NEWEST CONCERT VENUE
IS ALSO ITS SMALLEST

The "Demo Room" (in The Grove)
is billed as the "finest music experience"
a small room concert venue can offer.

Attracting progressive, national bands
and "sold out" audiences,
Demo has no chairs, no tables,
a killer sound system, just standing room only
for rock, punk, indie, hip hop, garage,
funk, soul groups.

Last night, Foster McGinty rocked the house.

Foster (and his legendary Fender Stratocaster guitar)
made national news several years ago
after he left his guitar on a New York subway train;
but offered an award ($1,500) which
resulted in its return.

Foster McGinty grew up in southern Missouri,
but now lives in Nashville, TN.

  1. Lucky you for being there! :)

I read about Foster McGinty and his legen (wait for it...) dary Stratocaster Guitar in this article and I laughed with it's title. Good samaritan?? Receiving a $1500 reward doesn't show a gesture of good willing! It turned out, instead, a profitable business!

    Have a splendid week
    (^^)

  3. Looks like fun! I'd probably fall asleep in the middle of the concert though, being fairly tired nowadays.
