FALL COLORS
AT THE MARKET

Autumn colors aren't confined
to the fall foliage.

In fact, seasonal warm colors
are everywhere at the farmer's market:

Pumpkins (of course) and a wide variety
of winter vegetables . . . crazy shapes
of crooknecks, turban squash
and the completely edible snake squash.

Root vegetables repeat the color scheme,
with beets, carrots, radishes and kohlrabi.

And fresh cut fall flowers to brighten
our table and homes.

(No black-and-white photos today!)
