NEW YEAR'S FIREWORKS
 IN KIRKWOOD

More than a thousand locals
showed up New Year's evening
for a rare winter fireworks display
in downtown Kirkwood.

. . . celebrating the new year,
and the end of our torrential rains
and flooding in Missouri area rivers.

Roads and highways are re-opening
as flooded residents return to their homes.

Worth celebrating, I'd say.

  5. Wishing you a wonderful New Year Rick and to your family. I've had a nice 'sunny' break with bush camping, feeling relaxed... Looking forward to all your wonderful pictures this coming year. Thank you for your lovely (uplifting) comments the past year. Floods are devastating, I hope you didn't get to much damage! All the best. Hugs, Mady
