GIANT ANTS
IN THE MUSEUM

There's an infestation of ants
at the St. Louis Art Museum.

These ants are huge.
And they're the hand blown
glass creations of native St. Louisans,
Steven and William Ladd.

They were made last year
in collaboration with the
Corning Museum of Glass.
Their design studio is now located
in Brooklyn, New York.

You can see more of the
Ladd Brother's very creative work at

  1. It´s funny an original. The works made with blown glass are usually very cute. It seems to me a difficult and delicate art.
    Hugs!!!

  6. These are incredible.... I like them! I like them more than the ones in our garden, they bite. Yes I'm excited and scared. Leaving many years of Australia behind, looking forward spending more time with my family. Never been to Holland?- you must come and visit those crazy dutchies.... x
