RULED THE RAILS
The St. Louis Museum of Transport
claims one of the world's largest collection
of steam locomotives (70) and trains
in the U.S.
This outdoor display of vintage trains
includes the famous Union Pacific "Big Boy",
the largest locomotive ever made,
and some monster trains that ruled the rails
during the 19th century.
The museum has its own railway spur
to an active Union Pacific railroad main line,
which has allowed the museum to
take possession of large and unusual
pieces of railroad equipment.
Workmanship on a very large scale!
