STORM DAMAGE
CLOSE TO HOME

The damage from our recent storm
is evident on many fronts.

A surprising number of large and older trees
were downed by our storm winds,
and tens of thousands of residents
are still without power.

There's hardly a road
in Eastern Missouri that's not
detoured or closed because
of fallen trees and branches.

(Grace Episcopal Church in Kirkwood
narrowly missed damage to its
magnificent roof, from a towering
fallen oak in the front yard.)

  3. Be safe Rick. I alway feel sad when i see older hardwood trees fallen by storms but better them than people. Nature's fury is overwhelming.

  4. La naturaleza puede ser cruel, pero nos deja el consuelo de bellas imágenes.
    Un abrazo, Rick.

  5. Oh my goodness! That is quite the storm! It is shocking when big trees come down. Also a lot of work to clean them up. I find it sad too sometimes. I hope all is well with you.
