NO MISTAKING THAT SMILE
That's Kilauea crater
on the big island of Hawaii.
It's been one of the most active volcanoes
in the world, since 1983.
And just yesterday,
a Paradise Helicopter aerial tour
captured this image of the famous crater.
And it was definitely smiling.
The lava gods must be very pleased.
(Kilauea continues to produce active lava flows,
on the southern coast of Hawaii,
which flows into the sea, to produce black sand beaches.)
