TIME TO MAKE THE SAUCE

Too many ripe, homegrown tomatoes.
Perfect, ripe, ready.
   What to do, what to do . . . 

Get some friends together.
Time to make some pasta sauce!

Cut out the core, the seeds.
Add the ripe pieces to the pot.
Some onions, fresh basil.
Cook it down, real slow. 

Keep stiring.  Keep tasting.
Till it looks like sauce.

That's what to do with 
too many tomatoes.
