PERFECT PEACHES PICKING
The peaches are perfect.
You can smell their sweetness on the trees.
We're having a perfect summer for peaches.
Warm days, cool nights.
The season is here. It won't last long.
What to do with all this bounty . . .
Slice them, eat them . . . while they're still warm.
Canned peaches. Put them up, for a winter treat.
Or best of all . . .
fix a bowl of sliced peaches,
with vanilla ice cream on top!
