PLANTING OUR GARDEN
Maggie signed us up for a raised-bed plot
at the Community Garden.
We decided to make it a "family affair",
to teach Metta and Eli how to prepare the beds,
to help sew the seeds, to plant the seedlings.
How to grow our vegetables,
to water and weed,
to watch for bad bugs.

What a joy! A good decision to make the children aware of how vegetables grow, to involve them in the whole process! Such a sweet, happy family you have!:)
