MY FUTURE
VEGGIE GARDEN
This is my raised-bed garden.
And I can't wait to get growing.
This is my 3rd year,
renting this great plot,
at the Wild West Community Garden.
Still freezing cold here in Missouri,
but not too soon to work the soil,
turn over the bed, expose the bug eggs
(so they freeze, and die).
Reading seed catalogs,
getting my order in the mail,
and soooo ready to get growing!
(No kale this year.
I'm so tired of kale.)

ReplyDeleteI prefer to grow herbs: lots of basil, cilantro, parsley, some rosemary, thyme, lavender; this May I will add sage and dill. I already have mint... so much of it. : )) Three more months...

I am also tired of Kale! I buy Rocky Top Lettuce mix from Baker Creek Heirloom seeds. I am also tired of squash......
