Pic Today 2/6/17

EGGS OF A DIFFERENT COLOR

Helping collect eggs
on a warm Sunday morn.

I asked why some were
   a different color . . .

"Different chickens," she said.

("Of course," I thought to myself,
wishing I hadn't asked.)

The wonderful thing about the different shades of eggs.
As water paints should be slightly colored.

I never realized that there could be so many variants in the color of eggs...
    Great shot!
