CRAZY INDIAN CORN

Originally cultivated by native Americans,
indian corn is the preferred grain for hominy
and is popular this time of the year
for Halloween decorations in the U.S.

The kernels are randomly colored
in bright unpredictable patterns,
and can be used for popcorn.

Discovered in the Americas by archeologists
as early as 1,000 B.C.,
did you know all corn must be cultivated
and does not grow wild?
