SHE'S GOT THE LOOK

Kirkwood girl, Isabella Leon,
has always been a looker.

And as a sophomore at
Kirkwood High School,
was discovered on a trip to L.A.
and signed with the
famous international model agency,
Wilhelmina Models.

She traveled to New York, L.A.
New York and Europe
for modeling jobs,
but has decided to return home
to Kirkwood, Missouri
as her home base.
(Agencies come to her,
not vice versa.)

This 5'10" brown haired,
brown eyed beauty
definitely has her feet on the ground,
and continues to remain active
at Kirkwood High School
KH Players film and acting clubs.

She's got the look.
(Less is more.)

AUTUMN FOLIAGE
ON STAGE

The show has begun.

Not so gradually,
leaves are turning,
colors are transforming.

Reds, brilliant yellows,
shades of orange
that only happen in the fall.

"Fall -- the time when everything
bursts with its last beauty ...
as if nature had been saving up
all year for the grand finale."

WHAT A WEEKEND CAN DO

Restored and recharged.

That's what a 2-day retreat
to the river can do.

Peaceful solitude,
cool autumn weather,
campfire on the gravel bar.

No TV.   No phone.

Sleeping on the porch.

Never fails.

(Ready for the world.)

THERE'S MEDICINE
IN THIS HERE RIVER

So I'm escaping this weekend,
leaving the city behind me,
to this peaceful corner of the world.

Very hard week.
Need to recharge my batteries,
And let these waters
wash my troubles away.

No blog till I return,
restored and refreshed.

Happy October, my friends.
Enjoy the season.
