THE THAW IS ON

Finally,

the near-zero recent weather

has released its hold on us.

Upper 20's last night,

40's today.

Ice and snow disappearing.

50's and 60's later this week.

(It will feel like the Bahamas.)

showing up everywhere.

WHEN FOOD

BECOMES ART

The 55th Rogue Underground Dining

event had 23 lucky guests

meeting at Parker's Table last evening

for the first event of the New Year.

The 7-course gourmet meal

was matched by an equal number

of world estate wines.

Rogue chefs and volunteer assistants

created the memorable event

while temperatures outside

were approaching 0-degrees.

JUST ENOUGH SNOW

TO MAKE THE WORLD

Our first snow of the year

was a gentle coat of powdery flakes.

Putting a thick coat of snow flakes

on everything.

(You could see individual snowflakes 

sparkling in the light.) 

Beautiful first snow.
