Pic Today 11/30/11










ABANDONED FACTORY DESIGNS

I see art, and random order,
in forgotten parts of the city.

Silent floors, chutes and pipes.
Missing panes of glass,
that spell a coded message,
or maybe just a crossword puzzle
on an abandoned factory wall.

A peaceful retreat from all the holiday buzz.

    Tes photos, Rick, peuvent être considérées comme un hommage au monde du travail qui disparaît de plus en plus avec les usines. Elles sont les lieux de la mémoire ouvrière.

    Very interesting views of abandoned buildings. I think it's one of the most interesting subjects to photograph.

    Ah, the empty halls bear bore witness to the many lives come and gone. There is always a haunting and nostalgic atmosphere about these buildings.
