HERE WE GO AGAIN
The St. Louis Cardinals
eliminated the Atlanta Braves
last night (final score 6 - 3),
and now move on in the playoffs.
The Cards took advantage of
their "wild card" status,
beat the favored Braves
on their home turf,
and are now ready to play
the Washington Nationals
in St. Louis starting Sunday.
Without jinxing the underdog Red Birds
and comparing their wild card
"come from behind" Cinderella story
to the World Championship last year,
it sure seems like things have
started out the same way this year.
