independent book store.
There's a great one in St. Louis
that is facing eviction,
and worth the fight for saving.
The BOOK HOUSE is a well known
independent book lover's refuge . . .
in a preserved civil war era house,
jam packed with used and rare books,
in every room and alcove,
every nook and hallway,
with old comfortable furniture
in all the right places.
They've lost their lease and are being evicted!
Here's the worst part . . .
an out of town developer wants to level
this historic building, for a
drive-through storage facility!
