THE RIVER RATS
PERFORM AT
LABADIE COUNTRY FAIR
The peaceful town of Labadie, Missouri
held its annual fair and parade
this past Saturday,
with the lively music of the River Rats
(including vocals and fiddle of Maggie,
my talented daughter.)
The day's festivities included
a vintage car and tractor parade,
old fashioned home-made ice cream,
a baked goods and pie contest & auction
(the banana pudding cream pie with crumb crust was winner).
Small town picnics are wonderful,
and worth singing about.

Le monde a tant besoin de paix. Quoi de mieux que le chant et la musique pour l'y amener. Rick, tu es un heureux père, comblé par une fille chanteuse et musicienne. Je vois qu'elle a été payée en retour par le beau sourire d'un enfant que la musique transporte de joie.
