WINTER'S FINAL 

SNOW STORM

Just when we were skating into Spring

(mild winter, warm sunny February)

Mother Nature handed us a sudden storm.

Tuesday evening:

Weather predictions call for "wet snow"

for the morning hours, "not a problem."

Wednesday morning:

4-inches of snow, already on the ground,

highways closed, driving winds,

4 more inches of snow forecast.

(The city was completely shut down.)

It was a wet "big flake" snow.

Especially fierce winds!

Unexpected, to be sure.
