ROOT CELLARS

Country folk know
the secret of root cellars.

Usually a mound of earth
in the back yard, 
with a door to swing open.

Keeps root vegetables 
and canned goods fresh all
season long . . .
fresh after harvest,
without electricity.

Ingenious!
