DRY MONTH OF MAY
HARD ON LAWNS & CROPS
A hot, dry May has taken its toll
on grass, lawns, flowers and farm crops.
(Missouri's normal rainfall is 5" for the month.
This past May we averaged 1.5".)
Going into the summer months,
this puts us way behind in deep soil moisture.
Gardeners and farmers are depending on
watering what and when they can.
(And praying for rain.)

ReplyDeletewe are having the same problem here, again. We lost well over 2 million trees last year. So sad.
