Pic Today 10/1/13




FINDING ACORNS

A sign that winter is 
  just around the corner . . .

finding acorns on the ground,
walking in the woods.

Two fancy acorns I always notice
are the sawtooth oak (pics above)
and the burr oak.

Fancy caps.
Like chrysanthemums.

(The squirrels are happy.)

    gorgeous! I love acorns and oak trees. I don't think we had that kind in Calif. when i lived there. So it is wonderful to see these.
