for making ginger bread houses

or family favorites 

that make the house smell good.

Bakeries are stocked with

fancy treats and favors

for the holiday season,

like traditional springerles, 

homemade marshmallows,

ginger snaps, macaroons,

peppermint candy canes

and rum balls for papa.
