assassination of Julius Caesar in 44 B.C.
This silver Roman coin
was issued by Caesar's assassin, Brutus,
2 years later, in 42 B.C.
inscribed with EID MAR (Ides of March)
under the Cap of Freedom
between two daggers.
March 15.
Always a date best advised
to be careful!
(Today is also the date
for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
