FOGGY MORNING
AT THE RIVER

I love the early morning light,
especially when it's foggy.

On the gravel bar,
down by the old abandoned mill,
listening to cold currents flow.

But watch where you hike . . .
I almost walked into a spider's lair.

(He was waiting for his breakfast.)
