CABIN SURVIVES
TROPICAL STORM BILL

As the rains came up from Texas,
Missouri took a direct hit
and the Meramec River flooded
its banks, and access to the cabin.

Hiking in, with cars left behind,
I'm happy to report
the cabin was left high-and-dry.

Hopefully, the rains will move on
and the river will return to
its crystal clear trout stream status.

Whew!

    You had me wondering as I worked through your series of photos top down. Glad to see the cabin was spared.

    We had a bit of a drought here for many weeks but finally have been getting some regular rain. Will pick the bit of drought over your deluge, however.
