THE SMILING FACES
OF TALAVERA

There's a shop here that sells
the colorful pottery of Talavera,
from Puebla, Mexico.

Hand painted maiolica pottery
from a very special clay in that region,
brightly painted and fired
(no two are ever the same.)

They're famous for their smiling suns.
Bright eyes and red, red lips.

(Their artists must be happy people.)

    Muy bonita cerámica con un toque muy alegre, aquí en España hay una población que también se llama Talavera y en la que hay cerámica desde hace cinco siglos. Estupendas tus fotos con unos detalles fantásticos.
