Finding autumn's jewels
is an exciting discovery in the wild.

A precious patch of chanterelle mushrooms . . .

a sycamore leaf that was someone's lunch . . .

a perfect arrangement of lepiota fungi
for tonight's stir-fry.

Finding starts with looking!

    Be careful with mushrooms picked in the wild, please!
    A bit of humor: do you know that ALL mushrooms are edible?? The note of relevance here is that some kind of mushrooms you only eat one time.

    Finding mushrooms and eating them has always been a big in my life since I was a kid, it brings back great memories :)
    Lovely photos Rick, that tiny leave imprinted on the yellow mushroom is really a must! :)
