AUTUMN'S LAST LEAF
These are the final days.
Autumn's brilliant show is fading.
Warm colors turn brown.
Branches lose their cover,
leaves drop to the ground.
Solitary leaves hang on
for their final salute.
My favorite season
makes way for colder nights
and gray skies.
Farewell to a beautiful fall.
